Hello!

I’m Jack.

Since I was a toddler I have had the mind of an engineer. From tearing things apart to see how they work (and sometimes putting them back together again), to programming, choosing to use Linux over Windows, and, more recently, drinking copious amounts of coffee to get me through the day. It is safe to say that being an engineer is at the heart of everything I do - and there is nothing in the world I would rather be.

Today, I’m a multi-award winning systems engineer with a doctorate and honours degree from the University of Southampton. My specialisms are in advanced signal processing, embedded systems, and articial intelligence. I am also a member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine and the Institute of Physics. Since 2021, I have been lead engineer on several high value projects attracting multi–million pounds worth of investment.

In my free time, I enjoy drinking coffee, relaxing with my family, indulging in DIY projects, playing guitar, sailing, and stargazing (typically accompanied by my three cats).
